    • The HB vectors are defined as the four tetrahedral vectors pointing outward from the oxygen atom of each water molecule along the two oxygen-Jiydrogen bond donors, and the corresponding two lone pair electron acceptor directions. An HB is pointing at a plate if the cosine of the angle, θ, between the HB vector and the normal vector pointing into the plate is grater than 0.8 i.e, θ < 36.87°
