As by nature our study, performed in tetraalkylammonium salts as solvents, do not address the question of whether the 2-6 nm sized Pd clusters are the actual catalysts, or whether they function as a "reservoir" or donor of smaller and probably more active fragments. However, to elucidate this aspect, we are performing a detailed kinetics experiments and the results will be published in a due course.
