    • Additional errors in Refs. 14 and 15 arise from the limited resolution and tip convolution problems associated with AFM, especially for the investigation of small (h < 12 Å) 3D surface features, possible changes in Ns due to temperature (and not coverage) variations across the sample surface, the strong possibility of significant postgrowth surface rearrangement during sample annealing due to poor quenching, and the lack of absolute coverage measurements independent of the QD number density.
