    • Notch inhibition of E47 supports the existence of a novel signaling pathway
    • This paper is the first to suggest that Notch signals have effects on E protein expression. The data presented demonstrate that Notch signaling through Deltex results in the inhibition of E47 and that this pathway functions independently of the Notch/CBF-1 pathway. Thus the data also show that Notch can signal either through CBF-1 or via Deltex and that the latter pathway inhibits E protein expression.
