    • L. Gromnitskaya, O V. Sralgorova, V V. Brazhkin, A.G. Lyapin (Phys. Rev. B 64 (2001) 094205, and previous papers) reported that heat-annealing of HDA at a high pressure increased its density. However, they did not name the high density HDA as VHDA. They also found that when ice Ih at a fixed high pressure was heated, it gradually converted to HDA, and G. P. Johari and O. Andersson (J. Chem. Phys. 120 (2004) 6207) further showed that when kept at 130 K and 0.8 GPa, ice Ih transforms with time gradually towards HDA
