    • After the submission of this article to European Polymer Journal a study describing the polymerization of oligo(ethylene glycol) functionalized isocyanopeptides and the thermo-responsive properties of the resulting materials appeared in the literature. We note that the results discussed in the present article are in good agreement with the conclusion drawn by Hu et al. for polymers of low degree of polymerization.
