    • There is a linear relationship between product formation and time, which indicates the catalyst is intact over the time course of the reaction. However, the rate of reaction observed following N2 purge of a solution of 5 is slightly less than that for fresh 3. This is due to a nonquantitative conversion from 5 to 3 under the reaction conditions.
