    • The same results were obtained when TEMPO or 4-methoxy-TEMPO were used as the oxidant instead of 4-hydroxy-TEMPO in the reaction (see electronic supplementary information), however, the separation of the product quinazoline from TEMPO or 4-methoxy-TEMPO is not easy due to their similar polarity.
