    • 1H NMR analysis of the reaction between complex 1 and 2 equivalents of 2-propanol in deuterated benzene was performed. The spectrum showed the exclusive alcoholysis of the alkyl-metal bonds and excluded any exchange between the phosphido ligand and the alcohol (i.e., the phosphido pincer ligand was not displaced from the metal center).
