Genetic differentiation across a behavioural boundary in a primitively eusocial bee (Hymenoptera: Halictidae)
-
This article forms part of the PhD research of Antonella Soro that focused on social evolution in sweat bees using a variety of molecular techniques. Her research continues into the conservation genetics of bees. Jeremy Field heads a group studying social evolution in insects from theoretical and empirical perspectives. Cathy Bridge was a postdoctoral researcher with Jeremy Field, working on social evolution in sweat bees and tropical hover wasps. Sophie Cardinal is a postdoctoral researcher working on the phylogenetics of social evolution. Robert Paxton heads a group working on social evolution in bees and wasps, conservation genetics and bee pathology
