    • -, however, the entropy results were unusually dependent on the size of the basis set. Some indication of this problem may be seen by comparing the HF/6-31G(d) entropies and integrated specific heats given in Tables 1 and 2 with those from B3LYP/6-311+G(3df) calculations. Good agreement is seen except for the cis anion. Differences in certain bond lengths (and thus especially the low frequencies relevant for the entropy) appear to be at the heart of this basis set dependence.
