    • It should be noted that the Fc group could not be modeled due to software limitations and as such was replaced with a cyclopentadienyl group. This was not considered a problem, since Fc had been shown to not affect the peptide helicity. Chloroform and water were used as the solvent in the MM calculations in the absence of force field parameters for β-peptides.
