The structural parameter proposed by Addison and Reedijik, τ= (β-α)/60, for the coordination geometry of the five-coordinate complex 3 is τ= 0.002, where α and β represent two basal angles (β>α). The parameters for ideal square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal geometries are τ= 0 (α=β= 180°) and τ= 1 (α=120° and β=180°), respectively.
