38. As a substrate tosyl-Gly-Pro-Arg-pNA was used at 1 mM final concentration. Compounds were dissolved at a final concentration of 0.1 mΜ in a Tris-buffer (0.05 M Tris, 0.154 M NaCl, ethanol 5%, pH 8.0). Three minutes after the addition of bovine thrombin (2.5 unit/mg), the reaction was ended by adding 1 ml acetic acid 50%. The absorption of the released p-nitroaniline was measured at 405 nm.
