    • A further evidence of the directionality of derivative 13 excitation is given by unpublished result. Some of the present authors recently realized a dye sensitized solar cell based on derivative 13 obtaining an external quantum efficiency of 2.7%. Conversely, a cell based on derivative 15 gave a 0.18% yield.
