    • Cyclophilin A is required for CXCR4-mediated nuclear export of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2, activation and nuclear translocation of ERK1/2, and chemotactic cell migration
    • In this report, authors investigated the mechanim responsible of CXCR4-mediated effects in HEK293 cells. Stimulation of CXCR4 by its ligand, CXCL12 (SDF-1), induces hnRNP A2 nuclear export, ERK 1/2 activation and chemotactic cell migration. These effects are mediated by interaction of Cyclophilin A (CyPA) with internalized CXCR4 receptor. Silencing of CyPA inhibits or attenuates these CXCR4-mediated responses.
