    • GPC measurements were conducted using a THF eluent in order to dissolve both PS and PDEA components with PS calibration standards. The molecular weight of the PDEA50 azoinitiator measured by the GPC using THF eluent is smaller than that measured using the aqueous solution containing acetic acid. These results should be due to (i) the different hydrodynamic of PDEA in the THF and aqueous solutions, ii) different calibration standards, and (iii) unexpected interaction between the polymer and column. The molecular weight of the particles should also be underestimated
