    • 3 under stirring at room temperature. The gel was left for 18 h at 80 °C. The hydrotalcite was recovered by centrifugation, washed until pH 7 and dried at 80 °C overnight. Before the catalytic tests, the hydrotalcite was activated at 450 °C under a flux of dry nitrogen for 6 h.
