Note that PR-TRMC gives generally higher carrier mobilities than direct current (DC) techniques (e.g, time-of-flight (TOF)), since the mobility is not hindered by inefficient transport over grain boundaries owing to the small distance scale on which the charge transport is probed (see also ref. [26]). However, it has been shown that PR-TRMC and TOF mobilities are similar when measurements are performed on a sample consisting of a single continuous domain between the electrodes; see ref. [12].
