Breeding and age in female black grouse Tetrao tetrix
-
This article is a part of the Doctoral thesis of Christophe Lebigre. His PhD, supervised by Rauno Alatalo and Heli Siitari, deals with sexual selection and genetics of black grouse. RA is interested in the evolution of mating systems and sexual selection in nature. HS works mainly on sexual selection and maternal effects in birds. A large part of this work was carried out by Hanna Forss for her Masters' degree supervised by CL and RA.
