The 'genetic benefits' of female multiple mating reconsidered
-
This paper is a part of Christophe Lebigre's PhD project supervised by Academy Professor Rauno V. Alatalo and Academy Research Fellow Heli Siitari. CL is working on sexual selection and genetics of black grouse. RVA has interests in evolutionary biology, especially the evolution of mating systems and sexual selection in nature. Work by HS mainly deals with sexual selection and maternal effects in birds. Silja Parri was a post-doctoral researcher in the project and started the microsatellite work in black grouse.
