The interpretation of population structure by F-statistics with special regard to systems of mating
-
This forms part of Dan Nussey's PhD thesis in population and quantitative genetics of red deer on Rum, supervised by Loeske Kruuk. The analysis is the brainchild of Dave Coltman and Tim Coulson, and Dave undertook much of the genetic analysis. Genotyping was conducted in Josephine Pemberton's lab in Edinburgh. The red deer project is run and maintained by Tim Clutton-Brock in Cambridge, with Ali Donald and Sean Morris - the current and most recent Kilmory field researchers - collecting much of the data presented here.
