    • Thermosensitive polymers are defined as polymers whose solubility changes upon changing the temperature. For example, polymers with a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) are soluble in water below their critical temperature (cloud point, CP, but above this temperature, dehydration of the polymer chains occurs, resulting in collapse and precipitation (phase separation) of the polymer
