    • TGA experiments show that, prior to the decomposition of the samples, 3.0%, 8.8%, 4.8%, 7.8%, 4.6%, 15.4% and 11.3% of mass losses are observed for Mn 0, Mn 1, Mn 2, Mn 3, Mn 4, Mn 5, Mn 6, respectively. These mass losses are attributed to solvent evaporation. These results are consistent with the elemental analysis results After de-metallation reactions, multiple bands are observed during chromatographic separation. The major band is not the desired product. See ESI for more information -2713

    • Occasionally, the reductive electrolyses irreversibly shift the absorptions to 436 and 811 nm. This spectrum change is consistent with the formation of phlorin, an electrophilic attack product of reduced porphyrins 18 -3589
