    • Biotechnology is defined as "a group of techniques and technologies that apply the principles of genetics, immunology and molecular, cellular and structural biology to the discovery and development of novel products" [3, p.3]. The biotechnology industry applies "various biotechnologies to develop commercially viable products. The biotech industry is typically an input in the health care, food and agriculture, industrial processes, and environmental cleanup industries" [3, p.3]
