Assuming that this sphere consists of a core of homo PS and a shell of the block copolymer of a thickness equal to the half thickness of the vesicle wall, i.e., 15 nm, we calculate the B/R ratio as 81:19 w/w, which is close to the experimental B/R ratio of 80:20 w/w. We can thus conclude that the spheres consist of homo PS surrounded by a layer of block copolymer.
