BJU Int 2004; 93:311-318. This randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled study included 458 incontinent women and was simultaneously conducted in four continents. It showed efficacy of duloxetine to improve incontinence and quality of life.

This study evaluated the efficacy of duloxetine in women who were awaiting surgery for stress urinary incontinence showing that some women responding to duloxetine may reconsider their willingness to undergo surgery.
