The data are not sufficient for detailed discussion of bond distances and angles (R = 0.087 [I > 2σ(I)]), but enough to discuss the atom connectivity and the molecular structure. Since A is not seen in the solution of 6, we consider that only a tiny amount of A, which is not detectable by NMR, is crystallized out from the solution. However, this is supporting evidence for the formation of 6, which is allowed to react with 5a to give A.
