    • Our FRAP experiments reveal a palmitate turnover 15 to 20 times faster than previously found in pulsechase experiments. This discrepancy is most likely due to incomplete removal of radioactive material from the cell on the time scale of lipid turnover, resulting in substantial reincorporation of tritiated palmitate.
