note
-
During all described experiments, the microwave synthesizer was operated in temperature control mode, meaning that the applied power (maximum 300 W) was automatically adjusted to reach and maintain the set temperature. After the programmed reaction time, the vial was actively cooled by a pressurized nitrogen flow. The temperature inside the reaction vial was monitored by an IR temperature sensor; pressure was monitored from the bowing of the septum on top of the reaction vial.

note
-
To reach temperatures higher than 140°C, larger polymerization volumes were required to ensure that at least 0.5 mL of liquid phase, which is required for an optimal microwave absorption in the utilized microwave synthesizer, was present in the microwave vials.
