    • s was 24.5 kω·cm; the resulting capacitative current would be less than 1 nA at t > 0.4 ms. The resistivity of a 4 μg/mL protein solution and the resulting capacitative current should be intermediate between those of deionized water and 1 mM acetate buffer. Because the detection limit and time resolution of the multimeter used in these experiments (Keithley model 169) are 100 nA and 100 ms, respectively, these tiny capacititive currents would not be detectable.
