    • In this report the authors demonstrate that differential phosphorylation of PECAM-1 tyrosine residues Y663 and Y686 was associated with distinct SHP-2-binding and catalytic activities as well as with cellular localization. PECAM-1's interaction with SHP-2 was also found to influence SHP-2's substrate specificity, including tyrosine-phosphorylated β-catenin and FAK, thus affecting endothelial migration.

    • In this report the authors demonstrate a role for PECAM-1 as a modulator of EMT in the developing cardiac cushion.
