The nuclear lamina and NPCs also form interconnected, immobile, two-dimensional networks that move synchronously during changes in nuclear shape.

Photobleaching analysis and transcriptional inhibition studies showed that it shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm, suggesting that it may play a role in RNA export.
