The frequency dependence shows the presence of long-lived species by the decay of -ΔT at low frequencies together with a region at high frequencies where the slope of -ΔT vs frequency approaches zero, indicating the simultaneous presence of short-lived species. Note that the PIA spectrum itself is measured at 275 Hz, which is already in the latter region.
