    • Here we assume the CoFe layer has its bulk polarization to get Eq. (2) even at the thin wedge end. Our assumption does not contradict the well-known experimental results on the polarization of ultrathin FM films, for example, Fe having its saturated polarization after 3 ML (Ref. 10),. because the wedge CoFe grows on the bulk FM layer (Py here) not nonmagnetic layers and exhibits bulk magnetic behavior.
