    • Identification of the natural ligand of an orphan G-protein-coupled receptor involved in the regulation of vasoconstriction
    • This paper details the discovery of the endogenous ligand for the GPR14 receptor, U-II. Interestingly, the ligand was discovered by both tissue extraction reverse pharmacology and deduced identity through similar biochemical structure with somatostatin. Furthermore, somatostatin and cortistatin both displayed activity on GPR14, although with low efficacy
