    • In earlier studies we have used the Density Matrix Spectral Moment Algorithm for computing the eigenmodes (51). That algorithm is particularly suitable for off resonant static response computations where only transitions with nonzero oscillator strengths are calculated. We found that the oblique Lanczos algorithm is more efficient and provides a more accurate representation of the resonant response than the DSMA.
