The results indicate a specific absence of TCR γ V-J recombination, with all other TCR gene rearrangements and the expression of recombination enzymes being detectable at normal levels in thymocytes from this line.

    • A transgenic T cell receptor restores thymocyte differentiation in interleukin-7 receptor alpha chain-deficient mice

    • Peripheral expression of JAK3 is required to maintain T lymphocyte function
