    • We have also investigated the pH-responsive nature of the adsorbed copolymer micelle films using a quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D). Unpublished data collected with the QCM-D indicate some loss of material from the interface during the initial pH 9-4-9 cycle due to the removal of weakly bound copolymer chains. No gross change in behavior was observed for subsequent pH cycles, up to at least four complete cycles.
