    • 2O (11 mol%) were added. The resulting mixture was subjected to microwave irradiation under solvent-free conditions for the appropriate time according to Table 2. The progress of the reaction was monitored by TLC (eluent: n-hexane-ethyl acetate: 7 : 3). After completion of the reaction, the mixture was cooled to room temperature and EtOH (20 ml) was added. The residue was filtered, the filtrate was evaporated and the crude product was purified by recrystallization from EtOH to give the pure product in 87-98% yields..
