    • Global burden of cancers attributable to infections in 2008: A review and synthetic analysis
    • This is an interesting reort indicating that of the 127 million new cancers occurring in 2008 the oulation attributable fraction due to infection was over 16% with H ylori heatitis B and C and human ailloma virus resonsible for 19 million cases The fraction was higher almost 23% in the less develoed world

This is an interesting report indicating that of the 12.7 million new cancers occurring in 2008, the population attributable fraction due to infection was over 16% with H. pylori, hepatitis B and C and human papilloma virus responsible for 1.9 million cases.
