    • In our hands, the nickel-dithiolene complex reported in this reference exhibits electrocatalysis at significantly more negative redox potentials than reported in this reference (400 mV more negative). From this we deduce that the nickel complex is actually a catalyst precursor that is somehow deposited on the electrode surface.
