General procedure for transfer hydrogenation reaction: under nitrogen atmosphere, the mixture of ketone (2.0 mmol), catalyst (3.2 μmol) and 2-propanol (2 mL) was introduced into a Schlenk tube. The solution was stirred at 82 °C for 30 min. Then 1 mL of 0.032 M i-PrOK (0.032 mmol) 2-propanol solution was introduced to initiate the transfer hydrogenation. The reaction process was monitored by GC analysis. The hydrogenation products were analyzed by GC Agilent 6890N equipped with FID detector and EC-WAX capillary column (30 m × 0.25 mm, 0.25 μm film). The conversions are determined by average of two runs of each catalytic reaction
