This is consistent with the manner in which intrinsic carrier-phonon interaction rates are calculated, thus enabling direct comparison (Fig.). In the actual simulation, the degeneracy effect is taken into account during the final state selection after scattering as described earlier and the self-consistent electron distribution is used.
