    • Aminals of N,N′-dialkyl and N,N′-diphenyl diamines have recently been reported as profragrances: U. Huchel, S. Sauf and T. Gerke (to Henkel KGaA) DE 10 2005 062 175, 2007; Chem. In this work the aminal precursors for each compound to be released were prepared individually; the reversibility of the system and the possible formation of dynamic mixtures were not explored.
