    • +.3,4′,5-Tri(α-d-glucose-3-O-succinyl)-resv eratrol (4). Compound 3 (150 mg, 0.12 mmol) was dissolved in 12 M TFA (3 mL). After stirring for 1.5 h at room temperature, the product was precipitated with diethyl ether (10 mL) three times, and the solvent decanted after each precipitation. The white solid was dried under nitrogen and then dissolved in 3 mL water to hydrolyze trifluoroacetic esters at glucose hydroxyls. The solution was finally lyophilized to afford 121 mg of the desired product.
