    • TEM images of gold nanocrystals before and after UV radiation were examined. The particle sizes had not changed statistically. The size reduction of gold nanocrystals was observed by many groups (ref. 1). The explanation for this is that the radiation power in our setup is much lower than the power of laser pulse employed in their experiments. Our temperature change is negligible with air cooling.
