When pure nanoporous gold film is immersed into the solvents with different refractive indexes, the LSPR band exhibits red-shift with increasing index. The shift per index unit is estimated by linearly fitting the curve between band shift and refractive index. It must be noted that the solvent can occupy the whole channels of nanoporous gold, which is different from the partial filling of alumina film
