    • The "blocking" effect has also been observed when cyclopentene is used a ring-forming comonomer in chain walking ethylene polymerization. Cyclopentene is copolymerized into the polymer backbone mainly as 1,3-disubstituted five-membered ring through 1,3-enchainment. These results are to be reported in a subsequent publication
