The result shows an overtreatment and undertreatment if prophylaxis is based on TST only.

Comparative analysis of 142 consecutive patients treated for inflammatory rheumatic conditions using QFT-G and TST shows a close association of a positive IGRA with LTBI risk factors. Agreement between IGRA and TST results was low. TNF blockade decreased the odds for a positive IGRA.
